Dear CBHL Members:

A Montgomery player, Sam Moore, has experienced a traumatic set of events over the last several weeks.

Sam, a 13 year-old MYHA Bantam House player, suffered an injury in a recent game and was taken to the hospital.  While there, doctors found a brain tumor, which turned out to be malignant. Sam is now beginning radiation and chemotherapy treatment.

Sam is a tough hockey player and a strong young man, and we are eagerly anticipating the day when he's back on the ice. Until then, Sam's family has set up a webpage on CaringBridge.org.  CaringBridge is a website that allows you to read journal updates on Sam's condition and also to leave him messages in an on-line guestbook.  You can access Sam's page in two ways.  First, you can go to http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sammoore1. Alternatively, you can go to www.caringbridge.org and enter the website name sammoore1 where indicated.

Players and Parents: please show your support for Sam by visiting his webpage.  Keep up with his progress, leave him messages in the guestbook and sign up to receive regular updates on how he's doing.
